Looking for a reliable and representative car for business trips, family holidays or longer journeys across the Czech Republic and Europe? The Volkswagen Passat Business 2.0 TDI in elegant Black Grenadilla metallic is the ideal choice for anyone who wants a vehicle from our car rental fleet that combines economical running costs, a generous boot and premium comfort. This modern Business estate offers everything you expect from quality car rental in Prague – confidence, comfort and technology that will simplify your journey from the first to the last mile.
Power comes from the proven 2.0 TDI diesel engine producing 110 kW (150 hp) with a displacement of 1,968 cc. Combined with the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, you get smooth, effortless driving – ideal for motorway trips and everyday city use. With combined fuel consumption of just 5.1 l/100 km (WLTP) and CO₂ emissions of 135 g/km, the Passat is one of the most economical cars in its class. A 66-litre fuel tank also means fewer stops and more time for what matters to you.
The Passat boot is one of the largest in its category, and thanks to the Easy Open & Park Assist Pro package you can use it with virtually no effort. Electric opening and closing of the tailgate is operated by a foot movement under the rear bumper (Easy Open & Close), inside you will find an electrically retractable luggage cover and practical sun blinds on the rear side windows. Longitudinal roof rails, a luggage compartment divider net and asymmetrically split rear seats complete equipment you will appreciate for daily use and longer vehicle rental periods.
The interior in ArtVelours Pure Grey Pure looks clean and representative. Standard ArtVelours Eco seat upholstery front and rear is complemented by door panels in artificial leather with stitching that gives the cabin a premium character. Driver and front passenger sit in ergoActive Plus comfort seats, while 3-zone automatic climate control and ambient interior lighting create a pleasant atmosphere even in the evening. Digital Cockpit Pro, wireless App-Connect, digital DAB+ radio and the Discover navigation system keep everything under control – from your route to phone calls.
The Passat Business is equipped with a full package of modern assistants that give you peace of mind behind the wheel. Adaptive cruise control ACC, Lane Assist with Traffic Jam Assist and the predictive speed limiter support you even in heavy traffic. Systems such as Front Assist, Front Cross Traffic Alert, Side Assist and Rear Traffic Alert carefully monitor the area around the vehicle, while Park Assist Pro with a memory function and parking via a mobile app makes even the most demanding manoeuvres easier. Add a rear-view camera, LED headlights with Light Assist, traffic sign recognition and keyless entry – and you get a car that is genuinely enjoyable to drive.
At Car Rental Prague, a purely Czech company with a tradition since 1990, we build car rental on fair terms and a personal approach. Each calendar day of rental automatically includes 200 kilometres – so a three-day rental gives you 600 km with no extra charges. For longer trips across Europe we offer the Free Millage tariff with no mileage limit. As one of the few rental companies, we also allow you to arrange extended damage protection or rental with zero excess, so you can travel with complete peace of mind. By arrangement, we can deliver the vehicle within Prague, including outside business hours. With more than three decades of vehicle rental experience, we know what our clients need – a reliable car, transparent pricing and support you can count on.
For more than 35 years we have helped clients across the Czech Republic and abroad find the ideal vehicle for every occasion. As a purely Czech car rental company with our own fleet and service facilities, we guarantee that every car is handed over in perfect technical condition. The Volkswagen Passat has been a benchmark in the mid-size class for generations, and this latest Business version confirms why Passat remains the choice of companies, families and individuals looking for reliable estate car rental in Prague without unnecessary compromise.
Book the Volkswagen Passat Business and drive with the confidence, style and comfort you deserve.
Did you know? This vehicle comes with an extended warranty of 5 years or 150,000 km – whichever comes first. The warranty covers manufacturer-prescribed service tasks, so you do not have to worry about regular maintenance and can focus fully on your journeys.
Our tip: Need a more compact estate for city driving and easier parking? Take a look at the Volkswagen Golf Variant Style – a more agile variant with rich equipment that works perfectly for everyday car rental. If you prefer a higher seating position, greater safety and a better view of the road, we recommend the Volkswagen Touareg R-line – a spacious SUV that gives you confidence in any weather and on longer trips.
